These women in our history have made such an impact that we celebrate the fierce and fantastic females who altered the course of history.
AMELIA EARHART
Amelia Mary Earhart was an American aviation pioneer and notable writer. She became the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Her disappearance during a flight around the world in 1937 became an enduring mystery, fueling much speculation.
DOLLY PARTON:
On top of her 11 Grammy Award wins, Dolly Parton has generously donated and fundraised to humanitarian efforts, including HIV/AIDs initiatives, disaster relief, cancer treatment, and animal rights. Now, Parton is launching a higher education initiative for employees at her theme park, Dollywood.

Serena Williams is an American Tennis player who has outdone the women’s professional tennis league for two decades. Williams is one of the top three tennis players of all time. Her persistence and dedication to tennis and women’s advocacy have shown many people her true character.
ESTEE LAUDER
The thriving business owner and queen of cosmetics is the founder of Estée Lauder. Today, the brands under the Estée Lauder umbrella include MAC Cosmetics and Clinique are worth a jaw-dropping $17 billion. Lauder was the only woman on Time Magazine’s 1998 list of the 20 most influential business geniuses of the 20th century.
MARILYN MONROE
Defining an era of beauty, glamour and success, Marilyn Monroe was the cover girl of the Golden Age of Hollywood. On top of this success, Monroe became the second woman in U.S. history to own her own production company.
