What I love about Milford is that every day is different. Elevating our brand, creating marketing materials, collaborating. I get to live my dream.

I pride myself on being an observer by nature.

I listen fully, with my whole self, and wait for the spark. Every design conversation, for me, starts with a goal, and keywords; I have a unique ability to visualize those goals and keywords. I can see the project in front of me in the beginning, but it’s out of focus.

The design process itself is my method of uncovering the vision. As I experiment with the design, the final product presents itself to me in layers. With every layer I peel off, the blurred vision of the project presents itself with greater clarity. Designing is a very fun process; the research, typography, colors, photos, textures, patterns…I’m obsessed with all of it, to be frank.

I say this a lot, but what I do is incredibly meditative. I’m always looking at design inspiration--I get lost in it. Every year, I unplug for a full week and go camping in the mountains. There’s an endless amount of inspiration within nature; there’s just something so beautiful about breathing in all the incredible creations around us. When I’m able to relax my mind out in nature, I feel more grounded and I’m able to bring inspiring and creative ideas home with me.
